Oxygen tank damage

A few months back there was mention of a new damage effect whereby your oxygen tank could be damaged resulting in the pilot being adversely affected by O2 starvation when flying at high altitude.

I can't say I have ever seen it - nor had the guys I was flying online with, so I am wondering has anyone recently experienced an occurrence of this?

Any videos showing the affect at all?

Please post a link as I would like to take a look.

I think the phrase is, "No, we have no such plans now. "

I got a damaged O2 tank last week in a 190 and the notification in the tech chat that my oxygen supply was running low, unfortately with a yak sticking on my 6, I didn't had the chance to observe the effect of oxygen starvation. I'm expecting some kind of slow blackout for this.

...or, maybe you did hang around to see what happened but, due to Ox starvation, you just can't remember.

Oxygen starvation is supposed to make you more sensible to black out at high altitude. As black out are currently bugged it's irrelevant in this version. But as far as I know it used to work.

I think this is the right answer. I've recently had my oxygen tank destroyed with no ill effect at altitude.

Han told me in the questions thread, that the missing blackout/redout is a bug and will be fixed in 1.103.

I was also under the impression your pilot was physically weaker at altitude without oxygen, not being able to pull the stick as hard. I have also wondered this OP as I have not noticed any effects either.

I have had damage to oxygen system in a He-111.  I descended after I got the message so I don't know if there are any related affects.

I have had damage to the O2 system aswell, I purposely flew higher to see if there were any effects and there was 0 that I could find. Like already mentioned this is partially caused by the fact there is no blacking out under G force atm haha
