This is the outer part to cover landing gear

it would be interesting to modify. It is to make the  properly winter skins

 

know that piece removed to prevent wheel lockup

You can extract them with a certain tool from the gtp files in the data directory. They can be modified but the game won't read them once extracted. Unless there is a method to compress them as gtp again, which I have not found out yet, it's impossible to implement them ingame.

 

Same goes for cockpit textures, gauges and other game elemnts hidden in the gtp files.
