homing beacon activation

hi all - sorry if this is wrong place to post

 

if I am flying wings of liberty server (loosely stating as I can barely get off the ground !) but want to practise with the rpk-10 or homing instruments ... are they not activated on that server? or is there a key assignment to turn it on in plane??

 

I don't seem to see any movement to the needle as I approach my airfield(s)

They are not active on this server!!!

I don't think they've ever been active.

Now it's just, "Press "I" for modern radar."
