F11 panning and other panning modes

Is there a way to change the speeds of F11 and the other panning modes?

I'd like a much slower response when I hit F11

Can't you control that thru the camera (speed and momentum) settings? Or do they not work for F11?

they work if you use the mouse but not if  you use the keyboard WSAD keys.

I might have a workaround now but it would be handy to be able to change how fast the WSAD keys respond because they are very quick as default.

Try using the Y axis of your joystick to move forward and back and X axis for left and right.

that doesnt work as default but I could remap I suppose, the pan speed must be in one of the config files somewhere though

Have you tried changing the value in here ?

There is already a slow mode, which by default is bound to numpad0.

Thanks coconut, that's for the F11 view is it?

Can you tell me where that binding is found (Viws?) because I've probably deleted the numpad ones as I use them for something else

Cheers!

It is under camera controls "free camera - slow mode" - you have to keep the Num pad 0 (or assigned key) depressed while you move the camera, it does not seem to work as a toggle.

Quite by coincidence I was looking for this just a few minutes ago for RoF purposes and came across this thread.... :)
