Hello

Tried to take of with the Junker today was not able to get enough speed.

Someone told med I need to fiddle with the Pitch when flying Junker. Okey so I guess I have to do some key mapping.

But this game is really really terrible when it comes to key mapping. It doesent say if does buttom are already used somewhere else. And even if they are not and I map them to something 70% of all the times it doesent work.

I have tried to key map the trimming buttoms with 4 different combination and none work, not even the default one.

So I was not suprised when the key mapping for Junkers pitch dident work. I tried several different keys, and aI tried on the (1st engine high prop /low prop) and on the / pitch up pitch down).

It is getting really really frustrating.

Really need some help here!

But it does say if a key is mapped to multiple commands. There is a small orange box next to mapped key. Move your cursor over the box and and it will tell what commands are asigned to that key. If there is no orange box, then there are no multiple commands to that key.

What difficulty are you using? Radiator and RPM controls are automatic in normal difficulty, so you only need throttle. In expert difficulty you will need also RPM and radiator controls. By pitch do you mean elevator controls (airplane nose up/down) or propeller and engine settings?

I play on realistic.

I have only been flyin Bf 109 so I have not had the problem handling the pitching.

But now when I want to learn Junker, I need to map those keys, and I have tried almost all buttons on the keyboard and none work!

In Junkers you will need to bind Engine RPM (Soviet), Water radiators and Oil radiators. Fuel mixture and supercharger are automatic in Junkers. You can't control propeller pitch settings in Junkers.

Watch your RPM in Junkers as you can damage the engine. Use 2400 RPM / 1.25 ATA (max 30 minutes) for climbing and 2250 RPM / 1.15 ATA for cruising.

Your propeller pitch controls do not work if you don't turn the automatic control first off. At least in a 109 you can turn off the automatic propeller pitch settings and manually adjust them. I don't see a reason to do so.

Requiem has made a nice video tutorial here
