=LG/F=Kathon Posted September 4, 2015 Posted September 4, 2015 What does chart in DServer window present? I assume it's some kind of utilization but what exactly yellow series, grey bars and red dots mean? What is recommended level for those series. There is also 'SPS' and 'Tick delay'values? What do they mean? Thanks.
coconut Posted September 4, 2015 Posted September 4, 2015 My guesses: SPS is simulations per second, or steps per second. You want those to stay at 50. Tick delay: I'm not sure. The amount of time by which the ticking is delayed It could be a delay between the reception of an event from a client and its inclusion in the simulation. You don't want to simulate time t if you later receive an event time stamped with t-1s. To confirm that hypothesis, check if it goes up when clients with high ping connect. The yellow line is cpu usage. The red dots is when usage reaches the maximum, which generates the server overload message. No idea what the gray area represents. 1
MF-Belgarufo Posted October 25, 2015 Posted October 25, 2015 I get spikes in the grey when artillery is firing at a target. Also the grey increases with AI activity especially on take offs and landings. That's all i know for sure from observation.

From my little experience and experimenting, you just want the tick delay as low as possible, below 20, the lower the number the greater the number of players may join...
