Fantastic flying and shooting.

Always interesting to see your own demise from your attackers perspective.

It's rare that you have recording switched on when you get shot down and make defensive mistakes so it gives a good AAR of the event.

Interesting to note there are coloured icons for enemies/friendlies, the clip in the first video where you shoot Leaf and myself down was on WoL where this is not supported (to my knowledge). Was hoping someone could give me some insight about this?

When a track is recorded and played back - you can view the icons.

Ah, I'm not familiar with recording in game, I assumed it didn't record head movement inside of the cockpit.

these videos are great to watch. but they make something very clear - i must have an outdated version of software.

.

for instance, my version:

*) i cant recognize friend vs foe at any distance

*) it is not NEARLY that easy to get behind enemies

*) my bullets dont seem to hit the target nearly as easily as yours do.

*) my plane doesnt last nearly as long as yours does.

.

man, i need an update.

Thanks for showing us your videos, some damn good shooting and very entertaining to watch

Good to see that even now, one doesn't need all that fancy-pancy TrackIR to be a good pilot! :salute:

The wing that snapped at 1:40 was interesting, the Bf109 that was low and slow and still managed to defy gravity just before 5:20 was a bit weird (not that it helped in any way). I wondered for a moment if that was a visual glitch due to packet loss.

The last one (8 minutes long) shows a bf109-g2 against a yak1 piloted by an excellent pilot. People who think the Yak is OP should look at this video, especially the 1v1 at high altitude in the second half. They might learn a thing or to.

That Yak is flown by Mr.X, indeed an excellent pilot.

He posts his missions elsewhere in the video section, perhaps we get to see his perspective on this dogfight ..

3000 hours flyng planes from SF260 to Harriers passing through Socatas, Mentors and some others...I never experienced a light plane flying with full flaps over 200 knots, without even e little vibration..not to say that should increase heavily drag..when they dont ripp off or jam..

That must be some secret soviet technology ;)

It was repeated for 1.000.000.000 times. Because of pneumatic mechanism, flaps of Yak are not fully opened. Use forum search please.

Yak presents in this GAME new VVS technology - Very Intelligent Pneumatic Mechanism of Flaps (call it VIPMoF) which opens flaps to IDEAL position at RIGHT time for BEST stability, BEST climb, BEST turn, BEST brake... and.. under 210km/h for BEST landing.... :salute:

Lol and I agree
