CzechElectricMan Posted August 21, 2015 Posted August 21, 2015 Hi guys i Have problem with my IL-2 own server. When we want to join it it says: Login failed. On DServer console. I would like to have some manual how to, if y know what i mean. Thank you very much
coconut Posted August 21, 2015 Posted August 21, 2015 You need to fill in the login/password fields in the SDS file. It can't be the same account you use for playing (unless you won't be playing), you will have to request a DServer account, which you can get for free.
PindafCZ Posted August 22, 2015 Posted August 22, 2015 We have got a second account, but still a problem.
coconut Posted August 22, 2015 Posted August 22, 2015 Your login does not look right. I think it should be the email address coupled to the account, not the forum/in-game name.
CzechElectricMan Posted August 22, 2015 Author Posted August 22, 2015 Yeah it helped. And another question, how we could join that server, please?
coconut Posted August 22, 2015 Posted August 22, 2015 (edited) It's telling you that it could not find the mission file. It's pretty difficult for me to tell you how to correct the path, since I don't know the layout of your hard-disk. All I can say is that if you are running the DServer.exe located in <somepath>/bin/game, then the mission file should be located under <somepath>/data/multiplayer. Also, I notice that <somepath> in your case appear to be under "E:\Hry (Steam...". By having spaces, commas and parens in your path, you are asking for trouble. If I were you, I would try copying the game to some location with a simple path, e.g. E:\il2server\... and see if that helps. In any case, before you try that, make sure the path to the mission file you set is correct. Edited August 22, 2015 by coconut 1
PindafCZ Posted August 22, 2015 Posted August 22, 2015 Thank you very much Coconut for your help. But we still have got a problem.CzechEletricMan created the server, but I can´t find our server in multiplayer. Can you help us please?
coconut Posted August 22, 2015 Posted August 22, 2015 At the point you are showing in the latest screenshot, the server has not loaded any mission yet, and it's idle. You need to let it load a mission first before it becomes accessible. When you reach that point, in order for players to be able to contact the server, you must forward the ports 28000 (TCP + UDP) and 28100 (TCP) to the server. 1
CzechElectricMan Posted August 22, 2015 Author Posted August 22, 2015 Thank you very much, server is runnig all right. But my friend cannot join it #10019: Unable to connect game server.
coconut Posted August 22, 2015 Posted August 22, 2015 Have you done that part? in order for players to be able to contact the server, you must forward the ports 28000 (TCP + UDP) and 28100 (TCP) to the server. 1
PindafCZ Posted August 22, 2015 Posted August 22, 2015 We still have a problem.... We done all your advice, but it doesn't work.
Urra Posted September 15, 2016 Posted September 15, 2016 So I now have the exact same problem as the guy who opened this thread. And I don't know why. Directory is just simple /dogfight/, nothing fancy. Everything worked a month or two back just fine, now something is screwed up. My screens match his word for word.
coconut Posted September 15, 2016 Posted September 15, 2016 They had a number of problems in this thread. Which one do you have, the last one #10019: Unable to connect game server.?
Urra Posted September 15, 2016 Posted September 15, 2016 (edited) They had a number of problems in this thread. Which one do you have, the last one #10019: Unable to connect game server.? Basically yes, #10019 comes up. Regardless of which mission is chosen. So it's gotta be something regarding my set up. My computer is wired in to the router. It always has been. Not sure what change has occurred. Edited September 15, 2016 by roaming_gnome
PB0_Foxy Posted September 15, 2016 Posted September 15, 2016 check the IP of your computer on the network card tabs Is it automaticly choosen or did you set up a static IP yourself on your network card ? then crosscheck the IP you wrote in your SDS in Server IP section. You must also check the external checkbox. It must be checked

With your response I remembered that when switching Internet providers last month I ended up with one router connected to another router to increase the number of outputs. Switching cables around resolved the issue.
PB0_Foxy Posted September 16, 2016 Posted September 16, 2016 you're welcome ! Happy to have helped you to sort that out
