=CFC=Conky Posted August 18, 2015 Posted August 18, 2015 Hello all, Like the title says, are they modeled? I have the La-5's cowl flaps mapped, is there a different key required for the I-16? Btw, I like the little bumble bee and it's buzzsaw mg's . Good hunting, Conky
[CPT]milopugdog Posted August 18, 2015 Posted August 18, 2015 (edited) Yes the I-16 has them, but they're on the front of the engine Open: Closed: I hope I understood what you were asking, I'm kinda tired ATM Edited August 18, 2015 by milopugdog
Finkeren Posted August 18, 2015 Posted August 18, 2015 I'm not sure if I understand you correct. Do you mean does the I-16 have seperate controls for inlet and outlet of airflow like on the La-5? In that case, I'm pretty sure the answer is no. The air that's let in through the cowl shutters on the front of the engine is just let flow freely backward I think.
=CFC=Conky Posted August 18, 2015 Author Posted August 18, 2015 Hello all, Thanks for the answers. I see the cowl flaps on the front of the engine but they don't appear to move when I use the keys mapped for them (the ones on the La-5 work as advertised). Good hunting, Conky

Brano Posted August 18, 2015 Posted August 18, 2015 key mapping - controls - engine controls - engine inlet cowl shutters control (I/16,La-5).They work for me well. Hello all, Thanks for the answers. I see the cowl flaps on the front of the engine but they don't appear to move when I use the keys mapped for them (the ones on the La-5 work as advertised). Good hunting, Conky
=CFC=Conky Posted August 18, 2015 Author Posted August 18, 2015 Thanks Brano, I hadn't realized the key mapping had changed. Good hunting, Conky
Brano Posted August 20, 2015 Posted August 20, 2015 Your welcome. The key mapping has been changed with addition of La5 months ago = inlet shutters open/close.Now we have another radial engine plane, ishak, which uses the same keys.Only that it does not have outlet shutters
