Sessine Posted August 16, 2015 Posted August 16, 2015 Hi guys BOS won't from Steam anymore. I'm getting a 'Can not create Direct3DDevice' error. I attempted to run Sneaksies batch file, but it didn't work. I'm on Windows 10.

Phantom-103 Posted August 18, 2015 Posted August 18, 2015 OK,I found the problem.Go to your Nvidia control panel.Go To manage Settings.Go to HDR.Check the boxes that you use for IL2 resolution.It seems windows 10 changed these settings back to default and your IL2 game is stuck on the higher resolution.
Sessine Posted August 18, 2015 Author Posted August 18, 2015 Well, I'm running Catalyst 14.2, so no, not the latest version. I could try that I suppose, but then Elite Dangerous will run badly :-) Good find. Do you know where the same settings are in Catalyst?
9./JG27golani79 Posted August 18, 2015 Posted August 18, 2015 You could check the startup.cfg which you can find in the following directory: \\IL-2 Sturmovik Battle of Stalingrad\data There the resolution is also saved in the section [KEY = graphics] Not sure where to find the equivalent setting to the nvidia control panel in the catalyst software. 1
