i5 2500 @ 3,3GHz, 16 GB DDR3 RAM, ASUS Geeforce GTX 960 Strix OC 4GB GDDR5, Windows 10 Pro 64 bit.

I have IL2 BoS at ULTRA settings, with 2x LOD and SSAO not checked ( HDR is checked ).

Runs beautifully!

SSAO does nothing good in this sim (can used effectively elsewhere) in BoS it just makes your screen look 'dirty'.

A couple of questions:

1) is the terrain.cfg back? I thought they took it away. I cant check for another week but id love to know.

2) how are you doing with SLI? I was under the impression that you need to play in fullscreen to take advantage of both cards but i get horrible stuttering when using fullscreen. Im currently using a single card for BOS.

Are you experiencing anything similar?

Traded in hdr for digital vibrance, not bad at all if I say so myself.

What tab is that digital vibrance on in the Nvidia CP?

Ultra settings with 4x AA, 4x LOD, HDR on, rest off, FPS unlimited (I average about 70-80 fps and don't have tearing). This is at 1920x1080 on a regular 22" (56cm) 60Hz monitor. System specs are: I5 4690, GTX 770 OC (2GB), 8GB DDR3 (PC1600), Z87X motherboard, 250GB SSD and Win10. Currently using latest drivers with all nvidia settings on the highest quality. I don't use sweetfx or any other third party programs.

Either you have slow eye or your not using TrackiR. Thers no chance you wouldnt notice screen tearing without VSync on (no matter fps limit option) on 60Hz monitor if your fps goes above 60..

If you use 'windowed mode' there is no screen tearing, don't ask me why, but it works, must have global screen res same as game (or both native)

All maxxed up ultra but no ingame AA in order to be able to use SweetFX.

Card is a GTX 980TI.

And paired with the GSync Monitor its awesomely smooth gameplay.

Hi guys. I need to ask a question. Please forgive me for asking in this topic but graphic settings is one of my problems. I use a very specific type of laptop in my work and because it is also expensive i cant afford to buy a second pc etc for gaming. The new laptop that i am buying now has a nvidia quadro k2200 gpu. On game debate and verious others this seems to be equal to the gtx 750, some also say gtx 750 ti... 10% variance. The cpu is an intel i7 4710mq. I current run bos on a k2000m on balanced settings with a max of 26fps and also have stuttering. The reviews that i have read says that the k2200 is a 100% improvement over the k2000m. I hope that this will translate to at least 50fps in balanced but i am not sure. Is there anybody that can give me an indication of the gtx 750 performance in bos. Many thanks.

If it's similar to a 750 I don't see why you couldn't get 40+ fps on max settings but perhaps not considering those GPU's are made for workstation rendering and you could run into overheating/throttling issues within the laptop chassis.
