I tried out the Stuka last night against the heavy russian tank and didn't kill one. :) This video looks like the Stuka gets pretty close to the tank and at about 30 degrees. Is that how its done in the game. As you carry 24 rounds you only get 12 attempts to fire so I guess getting close is best.

I've found it best to do a shallow dive, get as close as you feel you can, fire once (twice at most), rinse and repeat.

I like 30 degrees and 500m.

If you don't make contact in the first two trigger pulls, flatten out, extend and line back up.

Cheers and I guess aim slightly high for gravity pulling the heavy shell down

At 30 degrees/500m the 37mm ammunition has a surprisingly flat trajectory.

Give it a "shot."  ;)

Thanks for the comments guys, after some trying out  I am pleased to say I managed to kill a moving tank, it was 3/4 frontal at about 30 degrees and it looked like it hit near the turret ring and went up in flames nicely.

I  held fire until the target is nicely in the cross hair and fired one salvo. It was a bit close so now need to push out the rang a bit.

Actually looking back at the video I had a similar view.

Quite addictive really.

By the way the video is mixed up from a doku, watch carefully you see one central fast firing cannon.

That's a HS-129 with MK101/103 30 mm Gunpod, far from a 37mm Stuka.

There is some video from Stukas at Kuban, you see the difference.
