FlyingH Posted August 8, 2015 Posted August 8, 2015 As said, I can connect to the internet with Chrome and Edge (the "new IE") but not FF, TB or IL2 BoS program!! Error reads "#no connection with authorisation server" #2 your connection with master server was temporary lost, please check your internet connection" I get this error at this very moment while writing this!! Alas I have internet connection! My firewall is set to let the game connect to the net as is FF and TB, still no go! I can live without FF & TB but I want very much to fly over Stalingrad! PLEASE, any help will be appreciated!
FlyingH Posted August 10, 2015 Author Posted August 10, 2015 It´s worse than I thought!! I can´t even get the launcher to connect and check for updates!! This is really getting over my head! I made a factory reset of my router and killed ever y restriction I could find but still NADA! Noothing!! I desperately need help!! Please community HELP! Any suggestion that at least shows a path to solution!
9./JG27golani79 Posted August 10, 2015 Posted August 10, 2015 (edited) Thats strange as I´ve no problems at all connecting to the BoS servers after installing Win 10 - have you changed anything else (software / hardware wise)? Any useful information in the eventlog? Edited August 10, 2015 by 9./JG27golani79
71st_AH_Mastiff Posted August 11, 2015 Posted August 11, 2015 sounds like your Ethernet is messed up did you update your chipset before update? I would check your device drivers. under device Manager
FlyingH Posted August 12, 2015 Author Posted August 12, 2015 @ golani, I replaced my network card from an old belkin card to a new ASUS PCE-N53 otherwise I haven t done any changes exept updatin my virus and firwall program (Panda global protection) and set that according to the instructions. @ Mastiff, I don´t use ethernet connection but wifi, and I can "go" anywhere with any program that needs the net BUT FF, TB, BoS and the launcher! Even when having chrome and/or edge running these program says "no internet connection"!! I am stumped! Also I found no updated firmware for the network card or the router ASUS RT-N56U yet so Iam lost.
9./JG27golani79 Posted August 12, 2015 Posted August 12, 2015 Have you tried deactiving the panda software completely for a connection test?
FlyingH Posted August 12, 2015 Author Posted August 12, 2015 No I haven´t tried that, I will and report back!
FlyingH Posted August 13, 2015 Author Posted August 13, 2015 @golani, I have now tried to disable the whole Panda program but still no go!! Today I also found out I cannot log in to my internet bank so I figure I will have to go deeper into this to make my connections work! This is so frustrating, I installed W10 into 2 laptops at the same time as I did it on my desktop and the other 2 work flawlessly, but this one went nuts!! Whenever I find the culprit I will report back if there are others in the community who hits the same wall!!
FlyingH Posted August 15, 2015 Author Posted August 15, 2015 Update: I have now tried to disable Panda AV, firewall and what not, even uninstalling Panda Global protection, disabeling the windows defender, firewall et all, still I cannot contact server! Furter more I have found some new programs that don´t get out on the www, this is really shitty!
9./JG27golani79 Posted August 16, 2015 Posted August 16, 2015 (edited) That´s indeed very strange .. have you taken a look at the internal windows firewall settings? Is there any device in the device manager which isn´t installed correctly? And can you try connecting directly to the internet without going through the router and see if the problem still persists? Think I´m going to run out of ideas .. Edited August 16, 2015 by 9./JG27golani79
FlyingH Posted August 16, 2015 Author Posted August 16, 2015 I´m out of ideas too, I have indeed connected through the fiber connection bypassing the router all together but nogo! I don´t understand why a connection that was working perfectly well before w10 would go nuts only by swiching OS!? The mistery is why FF and TB and a bunch of other applications went the same way! And also on just one of five computers! Hy laptop, my wifes laptop, my sons destop and his girlfriends desktop all run TB and FF and other programs with no problem what so ever! It is just my desktop that is fucked! As sonn as I have a free day to spare I will revert back to w7 and make a new ugrade to a new SSD and start from fresh. I had hoped it would pe a peace of cake as the rest of the family got away A OK with their upgrading! I will keep you posted as soon as I´m running again. I have, by the way put the issue up at M$ helpforum as well as on Mozillas and a few swedish know-how forums too. I hope someone somewhere can help me solve the problem til I´m back home by next friday. I do appreciate your trying to help!
9./JG27golani79 Posted August 17, 2015 Posted August 17, 2015 (edited) Have you done an upgrade? It might be the cause of your troubles - you could try a clean install before reverting and upgrading again. You can do this unter: All Settings - Updates and Security - Recovery There you can choose to reset your PC with different options (wiping files, keeping them, ..) If you choose to wipe all files on your system drive you´ve got a clean installation of the OS afterwards. I´ve also had a few issues after upgrading with applications not running well although I didn´t run into connection issues - doing a clean installation solved things for me. FlyingH Posted August 18, 2015 Author Posted August 18, 2015 Well I mightjust do what you suggest, still I´d like to do a clean iso install to a brand new SSD and physically remove the old HDD. Afte that I guess I´ll have to reinstall the programs I have on the old one. I´ve always, ever since XP, installed my games on a different HDD as the programs folder on C:/ was very annoying! I justhave to make sure I do things the right way but I have my son supporting me with this task.
FlyingH Posted August 18, 2015 Author Posted August 18, 2015 I came to think of another scenario, would it be possible to delete the game and redownload the whole installation again using the same registration key I have bought once before? I thought maybe only erase in the windows register and do a full inatall to the same drive and folder as itis situated right now? I would then have a new reg entry that shoul be new to w10! Could that be done? I´ve been doing regisry changes before and I am familiar with how it works. Maybe I should ake a loogin the registry to see f it is there and if there are some restictions attatched there?!
