Is there any popular server (not WOL)?

Title says it all I'm desperately trying to get into Mp again but can't find any populated server at all (apart from Wings of Liberty).

 

If sby knows an altenative populated server (at least 40 people) at a given time (preferrably UTC) I'd be really glad to know. Reason why I can not fly on Wings of Liberty is due to random kicks and sometimes exclusive airfield defense force flying.

 

My biggest wish is to see the Syndicate server rise again as I had much fun and never (or very rarely) technical issues there.

In these days we have to fly (in any sim) in the servers that we found ... not in some type of we want/like.

To tell you the truth I stopped working on the MP aspect of BoS when I saw the lack of interest. Some of my squad mates still fly on our server and told us that people join when they see someone in. It cus of them (squad mates) that I updated the Air Bridge mission couple of weeks ago.

 

Hopefully new map will bring interest up but I do not expect a change on it during summer time.

My personal favorite these days is the 72AG air domination server. The mission is a ground-battle tug-of-war with a moving front-line.

There are 4 objectives, 2 on each side. When one side manages to capture/destroy the objectives of the enemies, the front-line moves and 4 new objectives are created.

Yesterday I jumped in when there were 3 people on it. Thanks to the kill notification messages, it was easy finding enemies. I had fun fighting a FW190 and bouncing a Stuka. The Stuka's gunner sent me home with a smoking engine, that made for an interesting return. Later, several people from 72AG jumped in, and although I was keeping away from the crowd in my IL-2, the scoreboard saw a lot of action.

 

The strong point of this server is that it offers a mission with crystal-clear objectives and a dynamic setting where your actions have consequences. Much better to have 3 stages of 4 objectives that 12 objectives at once.

The server isn't exactly popular, but it seems there are a handful of regulars who come back to it regularly, and it deserves more fame IMHO. Player population appears to be Russian-speaking, but the map and the subtitles are available in proper English.

 

I have only one complaint: You spawn by the runway. Not on it, fortunately, but not on the parking either. I guess the intent is to provide quick action, but without the hazardous runway spawn that I have often seen. I personally would prefer to spawn on the parking and taxi to the runway.

Well it doesn't show all servers but thx, I'll keep an eye open for it (used that tool for RoF already).

Yea, it's a pity. Unforntunately the player base has been very homogenously switching from server to server with not distribuion leaving other servers empty. I really hope the summer maps do bring fresh wind to MP servers left in the dark up so they get the attention they deserve.

Thx for the advise, I'll keep an eye on it. Used to fly on it before WIngs of Liberty sometimes but havn't seen it very populated lately. Yet I do not look 24/7 so it might be only on certain days/weekends(?).
