Redwulf__1 Posted October 25, 2013 Posted October 25, 2013 Representing the Airfield protection Squadron of Jagdverband 44, Gallands Elite ME 262 Jet Squadron. Formed on Feb. 28. 2000, JV44 The Redwulf Squadron has been continuously online in different scenarios like CFS 1, CFS 2, CFS 3 and IL 2 series ( HSFX included ). We are looking forward to participate in the upcoming IL 2 events. Emulating the "Platzschutzstaffel" of Adolf Galland’s Jagdverband 44, we of course use the FW-190-D series as our standard aircraft. The Platzschutzstaffel was equipped with the long nosed Dora variant of the Fw 190, both D-9s and the very rare D-11 were used. These aircraft were painted with bright red and white striped undersurfaces to aid in recognition by weary 262 pilots returning to base, and also the anxious ground flak units. The aircraft also had unusual markings including a personal inscription on the port fuselage side. We are using personalized skins and personal inscriptions with our Doras. You've advanced from offline play to online solo and now want to join a Focke Wulf Squadron? Try this: The "Redwulf for a Day" event of our Squadron offers you the opportunity to experience - first hand - what it's like to be part of a our virtual squadron. Under guidance of experienced Redwulf members, you'll fly practices, engage in missions and finally participate in heart-pounding, adrenaline pumping dogfights as part of JV44 The Redwulf Squadron. This event allows you to get an impression of us and for us to get an impression of you. The Redwulf for a Day event is also your first step towards becoming a Redwulf cadet. You for sure need to apply for it, just contact a senior Redwulf Members after your flight in the Redwulf for a day event, if interessted. After successfully passing the Cadet Test Flight with a senior Member you will be accepted as a Redwulf Cadet and a personal Instructor will be assigned to you. He will guide you through the training period as your Mentor. The training period does require a serious commitment on your part. Count on weekly sessions with your instructor + practice on your own. Our instructors take their job seriously, we expect you to do the same. We established a Cadet Curriculum in this training period, the only way to learn all about the Focke Wulf 190 and its specs. You will learn how to fly effective and how to act as Focke Wulf Pilot in this Squadron. This curriculum was also specically designed by top Redwulfs to train and teach the basics of becoming a full fledged Redwulf Rottenflieger ( Wingman ). After completing the Cadet Curriculum to your instructor's satisfaction, the instructor team will schedule your Redwulf Test Flight. Passing this test (against a senoir Member and in front of the whole Squadron) is your final step to become a full fledged Redwulf. Once a Redwulf your training doesn't stop. From here we learn together as friends. We push one another and encourage one another. Our main goal, friendship and loyalty while being deadly in the skys is a serious one. Its our way to be a Redwulf. Take a look here: http://www.Redwulf.de and read about us. Interessted in one of these events? We are monstly online at Saturdays and Sundays 22:00 ZULU Time.
