Blitzen Posted August 5, 2015 Posted August 5, 2015 Can I use the Full Mission Builder to add a few more planes ( think wingmen) to get at least a Finger Four group to third party missions? On too many of the missions I'm being sent out with one wingman to face a dozen Soviet fighters mad for my blood.I'd like to try to even the odds a little by adding a few friends on my patrol...is this possible?
caryatid23 Posted August 5, 2015 Posted August 5, 2015 Yes you can. To open a 3rd party mission that you only have the msbin file ( in case that's all you have ) you'll need to put an asterisk "*" in the filename field of "Open" dialog. Look for the aircraft that is the player. It'll be wherever you start the mission, and its "AI" setting will be player. You may add other aircraft there and connect them to you as the leader with "Add by Dialog". If you start on the ground you may have to command them to take off; but with you as leader they will normally just follow you. If you need more details on how to use the editor in general -- the Rise of Flight ME manual applies in most of the cases : http://riseofflight.com/forum/topic/45373-new-useful-materials-page-official-links/
