ACG_Flyby Posted July 30, 2015 Posted July 30, 2015 I get that message, but the game allows me to sign in after it apparently checks the version, then displays "Play". Has this happened to anyone else lately? The last update was July 17 2015 iirc. So,what gives? I'e created a ticket, but no response from the developers yet. thanks Flyby out nevermind. search is my friend.

desigabri Posted August 8, 2015 Posted August 8, 2015 I still have this troble!!! I tried deleting the updates and do the update again and at last reinstalling the game without updating and a second time updating it: always the same error: I can't play online and neither offline :(
ACG_Flyby Posted August 9, 2015 Author Posted August 9, 2015 Des, did you try renaming your update folder. Try that, as it's basically what I did (renamed it). Then the game didn't find the proper folder name, and so it began ti update itself just fine, making a new update folder. My game now has two "update" folders, but one has been renamed (and is now useless) so now I can delete it since the new one does what it should. Good luck. Flyby out
Bearcat Posted August 9, 2015 Posted August 9, 2015 What's up D... glad to see you still hanging in there...
ACG_Flyby Posted August 9, 2015 Author Posted August 9, 2015 (edited) S~ Bearcat, Yep, still flying BoS off line, mainly. Spend most online time flying the campaigns missions with the ACG. Now it's Britain's turn to try t wrest air superiority from the Abbeville boys (we move to our new bases today) over southern France. I'm using Win10 now, and it runs everything very smooth so far. Easiest OS upgrade I've ever done. Also, waiting on the DCS Wolrd-2 graphic upgrade so I can move through WW2A\C into Korean conflict A\C. Would love to see some Viet era Route Pack Six action going against MiGs, flak and SAMS while trying to take out power stations, bridges and NVAF bases. Thud Ridge forever, baby!!!!! And you? Drop a line and chat me up. Flyby out PS Friend'ed Snake (so far) on Facebook Edited August 9, 2015 by FlybyFlyby

Flyby out I'm pretty sure to have done what you suggested before, anyway I tried again and it worked. May be that I deleted files but not directory,,, anyway with the previous NOT working update I had the files you can see into the "not working update.jpg" Today, after having deleted the directory and done the update I have now the files you can see into the "Working update.jpg" (less files) I don't know what it dependes to, but now it works THANKS FLYbY
