How to move the turret ?

This might be a slightly silly problem, but I can't move the turret of any plane which has one or more turrets.

 

I first switch to a turret position, then take take control of it, I can then fire the gun, but I can't actually move the gun around. Mouse movement doesn't do anything. I have looked through the key mappings, but can't find anything related to turret gun movement.

 

Must be missing something obvious.

Hi GeorgeKT,

 

I had the same issue as you and solved the problem. 

 

It isn't very clear in the key mapping but you need to map the mouse to "Bow pilot head vertically" (mouse Y axis) and "Turn pilot head horizontally" (mouse X axis), and you will be good to go!

These options are a bit confusingly named. A turret gun is not the same as the pilot's head. Given the fact that I have track IR, I had unbound these things.

There is also a turn gunners head horizontally, but that doesn't seem to do anything.

 Thanks, looked and looked tweeked and tweeked, bow pilots head isn't exactly gunner aim, got it thanks to your simple and clear instruction.

I have to agree. The connection to using a turret gun and the movement of a pilots head does not logically connect in any way.
