Anyone having Trouble with: #5: License Key is not Activated.

I've been trying for the past week to get help on this matter and what I get from IL-2 Sturmovik isn't working. Oh! by the way BOS was activated back in March of 2014. Also loaded it up on Steam and I had the same problem.

Any help would sure be appreciated if anyone as the answer to this problem.

 Did you send a ticket to customer support? they'll usually help you quite quickly.

 

Edit: Probably misread you. Anyway the best way is to contact them again, i don't know what they can do exactly and you don't leave a lot of information about it.

 

 

You get to the login screen in the game client?

Yes, and when I hit play and then enter my email and password, what comes up next is #5 License key is not activated.

Hi! again, sorry to be an nuisance. There's nothing in my profile in "Get BOS on Steam as you can see in my profile. However I do have Battle of Stalingrad on Steam and when I try to get in I get the same message #5 License Key is not activated.

I'm sorry, but I've tried the instructions in my profile without any luck. I've sent copies of the results in my profile. I've been playing Battle of Stalingrad since March 2014 and never had this problem before. Is it possible for you to take charge of my computer and fix it properly.  At TrackIR they did this and solved the problem with the TrackIR.  Your help would sure be appreciate..

Did you buy BOS on this website or Steam? This sounds to me like you have not completed the activation process or you have two different user accounts.

For what it's worth, I think of myself as quite intelligent (on my good days, anyway) but I got tripped up with different user accounts. I managed to buy my DServer account BOM.

 

Luckily, I realised what I had done and without any problem "gifted" my BOM licence/serial number/thingy from my DServer account to my normal account. 

 

It's always easier to make a mistake than you (I mean, I myself!) think.

OP has a similar thread in the Steam forums so I guess we are talking about the Steam version here. I suggested that he should activate his key on the Il-2 website but it seems as if he ignored that advice (since there is a new thread on the topic in this forum).

I did the following and still it comes up Licence key is not activated. You need to:

I've recently bought "Flying Circus VI" via the IL2 website. In my account on the website I can see the purchase and the licence keys.

 

- IL-2 Sturmovik: Battle of Stalingrad - Premium Edition

- Early access IL-2 Sturmovik: Flying Circus – Volume I

 

Both keys are marked as "activated".

 

Now I've downloaded the game from the download page in my account (IL2_setup_Great_Battles.exe) and installed it. After the start I try to login with my account from the il2-site but get this "licence key is not activated" error.

 

Do I have to download a seperate installer for BoS and FC?

Yes I have same problem I bought all 3 scripted campaigns off the website say activated but in game show padlock is on them and cant remove it

I bought this game on Steam back in 2015 but my PC at the time couldn't play it properly so I got a refund.  I just bought the Deluxe edition in the Summer sales on Steam (along with battle of Kuban and Blazing Steppe).  However, when ever start the game up I see the attached image.  If I play offline I don't get any of the DLC except the FW190 and the LA5.  I logged onto this site to try to activate it, but I don't have any key that I can see to activate on my profile.  I sent off a ticket to the Devs but it's been 48 hours and I've had nothing back from them.  Is there anything I'm missing?

I can't answer your question as I didn't get mine from Steam.

 

There are several threads on Steam issues - not sure which can help you but perhaps worth looking up the one headed as below (sorry but don't know to link it).

So, when you try to log into the game - do you use the same email-address you're using here resp. on the web-shop?

You need to make sure your access credentials here on the web AND for the game are the same. There's no other way.

 

And make sure that your startup.cfg file in your game's data folder is NOT read-only. This can also cause issues.

yes both password and email are correct because if they werent i would have gotten wrong email/password not license #5 key not activated and the i file is not on read only

Hi all. I purchased a number of Items including battle of Stalingrad and battle of Bodenplate during the steam sale but can't start the game.

I get (#5 License key not activated) when trying to launch and link my steam account to IL2.

 

I have no idea where to find my license key because it does not come up as an option when i right click on game in steam anl look in the

"Manage" column which is where my cd key should be displayed.

 

Anyone else have this issue?
