jfsimon1981 Posted July 15, 2015 Posted July 15, 2015 Hello, I wonder if IL2 BOS would allow dynamic airfield closing and changing side, moving fronteers, like they did with a mod of IL2-46, Freehost. Then when an airfield sustains too much strike, it is vulnerable for a while, droping chutes made it go yours, like capture the flag. Such was interesting as map's evolving real time. Any of you know which feature BoS has to make dynamic map, if it has ? J-F
Sim Posted July 16, 2015 Posted July 16, 2015 AFAIK from a technical point of view - this is all already possible in BoS. Airfields can change sides and front lines can be updated with recent addition of dynamic icons (that can be activated/deactivated). We don't have a way to drop chutes (infantry) on the airfield however.

Please don't make it reload so often, it's interesting when deep changes can be made through Some passionate lady/guys will probably like to start.
Jupp Posted July 18, 2015 Posted July 18, 2015 ~S~ Simon and Sim, " We don't have a way to drop chutes (infantry) on the airfield however. " Actually, I just posted yesterday somewhere else on the forum an idea I had a awhile back. We could spawn He111s to purposefully smash them together at high alt over the airfield, triggered by some amount of damage to something, destruction of something, or by complex trigger. The theoretical result being that their crews represent paratroopers! I haven't done this yet, but it would seem very easy to accomplish, especially, if it was preceded by a high level bomb run to mix the falling airframes in with the chaos. I'll probably build it myself soon as it keeps coming up. Blue Skies, S! -Jupp-
