Track IR not working properly for BOS

Hello dont know if it was the new update as I have been flying DCS A10C lately but where as for CLOD and DCS my track Ir is working fine for some reason on battle of stalingrad I am not getting proper rotation and I cant look properly up or to the sides. I am using requiems profiles. Anyone have any ideas really want to play this game but without track IR working properly I am dead in the water. To be honest I have always found track IR to be more annoying and time consuming with BOS compared to things like clod and DCS but at the moment its unplayable. Many thanks in advance.

And its not just track IR it seems also that my zoom function is greately diminished and will only zoom in a much shorter distance than it used to. Is this somehow part of the new update? It also will not center at all almost when I click the center button. It must be the game as all the others are working fine.

 

Another thing I have noticed is that all the new graphics options such as visibility do absoloutely nothing and that when I check them and restart the game the same old settings are still there with nothing having been changed. I think I might try to reinstall.

yeah it said they are up to date

I installed that sweet FX thing which crashed the entire game and it wouldnt load up at all. So I backed up game files and reinstalled and then found track Ir to be not working. I have deleted everything now old game files and everything and am reinstalling again hoping for better results. Man I would be sorry if I cant play BOS any more!

When I reinstalled the game didnt work for me properly so I did it a 2nd time and like you deleted absolutely everything in the 1C folder. I did back up my controls etc.

Do you not find that track IR has always been a little more difficult with BOS? I mean to be fair it was fine by and large, but even back when it was working I seemed to spend way more time callibrating and recallibrating it that I do with DCS or CLOD.

I have found that RoF and BoS are the easiest game to get TrackIR working in. DCS is one where I fiddled around with settings for. But ROF and BoS worked right away.

Try using the preset "Smooth" profile in TrackIR.

When all else fails, reinstalling the Natrualpoint software and or BoS might do the trick. There's actually a NatruralPoint rep surfing around here who might respond. They are pretty helpful on their own forum as well.

Ok dudes fixed the problem.

 

Everything that was wrong with the update and graphics options (visibility etc) also seemed to be messing up the track IR somehow and it was as if I simply didnt have an update. The reinstallation did the trick though and things are looking good.

 

If anyone has a similar problem be sure when you reinstall to clear and delete everything! Rememeber that this was my second reinstall since the new patch.
