Somebody really should do the snow camo stripes from Where Eagles Dare.

Somebody really should do the snow camo stripes from Where Eagles Dare.

 

What a GREAT idea

 

I am soooooooo old that I went to see it with my uncle when it came out at a big cinema with PananVision or something, it was a great big curved screen and big sound system.

 

When the opening sequence came on with the 52 flying through the mountains I was awe struck I was just not prepared as a young lad for the assault on my senses that it produced. My jaw may well have dropped too I was quite literally struck dumb and stunned

 

Thought the rest of the movie was pretty pants mind, at the end did they not have a helicopter as I recall?

 

I'd still watch it just for the few seconds of that opening sequence

Ask and you shall receive. Also, I've never seen this movie, so I've added to my bucket list. I'm pretty sure I created the camo nearly the same as the movie version. I went with a grey green instead of a pure green though. This way it's more stealthy in the snow. :D

I hope these skins can be used with the new flyable plane. I have a feeling they might change the template to accomodate a loadout option or two.

Hi all.

 

yesterday gave me to do another skin of Ju52, and days ago I saw a boy

exposed profile Ju52 in Switzerland Milka, so I tried to do a good job for fun all a little, hope

and wish that you like and enjoy when we can fly with the Ju52

I understand, in that I used the RLM20 color used by LW. Since I'm not at home at the moment, in 4 hours I put it available for you

Super black as requested. Do you realize that other players won't see this "super black" unless they also have the skin? Regardless, I made it as dark as it possibly can go (this was like a 2 second skin creation).

That is because I am SO MUCH in love with this plane!

 

Of course I know that other player will not be able to see them , but I do not care... as long as I am flying the ju52, I am happy!

Thx for the support but my skills in skinning are very basic. I believe the great creators of skins of community are waiting the JU be released. Should have changes in the template which would make those skins obsolete or even incompatible in future.

I have many projects for Ju as soon as I have the time I put it for you.

Thanks Pirake, 

It does not matter your skills skinning are very basic, I find your skins awesome.

The template change would probably (I hope) be modified to make the rear gunner optional (like the IL2) so we can make realistic civil ju52. 

But I believe even with that, old skin will be fully compatible.
