Gl-l0st Posted July 8, 2015 Posted July 8, 2015 The issue is with the trim keybinds in BoS settings with the Focke Wulfe's stabilizer and various other keybinds. The keyboard keybinds work but the joystick doesn't and it's mostly to do with multiple key presses using Shift, Control and Alt. Here is the TARGET Script Editor commands responsible for adjusting the Fw190 stabilizer trim. MapKeyIOUMD(&Joystick, H1U, CHAIN( DOWN+R_SHIFT, D(), PULSE+DARROW), CHAIN( DOWN+R_CTL, D(), PULSE+DARROW), CHAIN( DOWN+R_SHIFT, D(), PULSE+DARROW), CHAIN( DOWN+R_CTL, D(), PULSE+DARROW), CHAIN( DOWN+R_SHIFT, D(), PULSE+DARROW), CHAIN( DOWN+R_CTL, D(), PULSE+DARROW)); MapKeyRIOUMD(&Joystick, H1U, UP+R_SHIFT, UP+R_CTL, UP+R_SHIFT, UP+R_CTL, UP+R_SHIFT, UP+R_CTL); There is a scripting mistake somewhere in there preventing it from working that isn't apparent to me, however one of you script guru's are sure to spot the culprit.
KoN_ Posted July 15, 2015 Posted July 15, 2015 I think they have not tested this game with the TM~ warthogs . so many people are complaining about curve settings and key bindings , i have the same issue . i have mapped trim to hat switch on joystick in game not target and only used a few key bindings on target software , i deleted most keys in game and started from scratch . prop pitch dont work for me in 109 or 190 .
Gl-l0st Posted July 16, 2015 Author Posted July 16, 2015 Thank you for replying to my post II./JG77_Con ,this sounds disappointing. I have Fw190 stabilizer pitch mapped to the keyboard right-shift plus up and down arrows. In TARGET software paddle switch S4 with H3U and H3D on the joystick activate this key combination. In BOS keyboard settings menu if I hold S4 and then press H3U it detects and maps as right-shift up arrow, likewise for down arrow and H3D but in the Fw190 it just doesn't work at all. There are other bindings that don't appear to function which may or may not be my ignorance as to their proper use.

Sokol1 Posted July 16, 2015 Posted July 16, 2015 Is need use pause (hold...) between the key press or the D is see be game before the modifier. Make a favor for yourself, simplify the things, go to controls and remap trim controls* for arrow keys up, down, left, right, so no macro or pause is need since are using only one key. For "default" these keys are set for "piloting" the plane with keyboard, thing that a "real virpilov" don't do, so useless assignement. The arrow keys can control all the 3 different types of trim for different planes.
Gl-l0st Posted July 16, 2015 Author Posted July 16, 2015 Just realised I copied and pasted the wrong script into my post, below is the correct lines. MapKeyIOUMD(&Joystick, H3U, CHAIN( DOWN+R_ALT, D(), PULSE+DARROW), PULSE+F1, CHAIN( DOWN+R_ALT, D(), PULSE+DARROW), PULSE+F1, CHAIN( DOWN+R_ALT, D(), PULSE+DARROW), PULSE+F1);MapKeyRIOUMD(&Joystick, H3U, UP+R_ALT, 0, UP+R_ALT, 0, UP+R_ALT, 0); MapKeyIOUMD(&Joystick, H3D, CHAIN( DOWN+R_ALT, D(), PULSE+UARROW), PULSE+F2, CHAIN( DOWN+R_ALT, D(), PULSE+UARROW), PULSE+F2, CHAIN( DOWN+R_ALT, D(), PULSE+UARROW), PULSE+F2);MapKeyRIOUMD(&Joystick, H3D, UP+R_ALT, 0, UP+R_ALT, 0, UP+R_ALT, 0);
Gl-l0st Posted July 16, 2015 Author Posted July 16, 2015 (edited) Is need use pause (hold...) between the key press or the D is see be game before the modifier. Thank you Sokol1, are you asking what the key D is used for in the script? If you are, it is the scripts command for inserting a delay between holding down shift then pressing arrow key however, in this case there isn't any delay as the closed parenthesis are empty. With regards to the arrow keys I will have to check whether they aren't already bound to another function and if not I'll use your suggestion. I'm not using the default BOS key mapping, I have my own personalised binds. Edited July 16, 2015 by Gl-l0ST
