Then explain me why I see now new DM effects that I never seen before?

because maybe your getting better at tweaking your computer, new GPU? new machine? we don't know how you install your game?

 

or its a conspiracy and the Devs are messing with you..

Hi Pilots,

 

did anyone mentioned the BF109F4 losing their wings easier since the new Patch?

 

In my example. I press my stick forward and as i reached above 500 KM/H und pull the stick to the maximum my wings ripped off.

 

Haven´t recognized it before this patch. Never lose my Wings below 660 KM/H

 

Also its not longer possible to use custom skins.

 

Maybe I am wrong, but i wonder about this new behavior....

 

Can anyone confirm this?

Guys, it's unbelievable. I turned SSAO off, and now I have superb frame rates on ULTRA settings on my old PC. Just fantastic! Thank you!

It's the placebo effect, as usual. It's always this way every time an update is released.

 

Again: nothing changed with the damage modeling.

I-16 is  real fun to fly... once wheels up.

 

In a messy furball that's a perfect tool I think with very good visibility and low speed roll and turning rate are really impressive.

 

But once over 2500m.... that is clearly not the same story.... 

 

Have been destroyed allmost 20 times tonight on multiplayer for  maybe 2 or 3 kills but what a fun party it was :) !

The team does a pretty good job of completing their patch notes and, historically, when there is something they have touched that doesn't affect much else they will say something like "And there were also a couple of small fixes to XYZ but you may not notice."

 

If anything, critical failure for the wings of all aircraft isn't brutal enough. I want to see some more sustained G-overload damage - the current DM is "flexy" enough for this.

Loosing wings, no custom skins for f4, the NaNs should be repaired - yeah, there are no values shown at all when logged to MP before "Max", wings rip off when I-16 shoots on a BF, no impact sound of the bullets, etc.

That was a really well spent time for testing....

By the way, I really don´t understand why BoM is in development when there are so much improvements to do in BoS.

I've also noticed this. I'm not sure if it's my imagination or I'm just having trouble telling the distance at which the blur sets in. Can anyone else add their experience?

I found same problem, no matter how you change the setting you cannot remove the landscape strong blur effect in distance contrast with the high quality one in close distance, zoom-out view. disappointed  :(

Great update, the I-16 is quite an interesting plane to fly.. although I noticed a that a static model/block item is not present for the new I-16 plane for decorating airfields, I hope this is an oversight and will come with future patches?

I also noticed this: no matter how high I set the landscape distance, it gets blurry at the same distance from my plane. There is virtually no difference between the settings. Maybe I misunderstood something, and it's not what it is for?

The terrain.ini was removed with this update. Now it is inpossible to change the LoD Landscape settings like it was before possible. No Modding allowed here. It's the placebo effect, as usual. It's always this way if changes happend. :coffee:

Maybe its bugged?

Did you try and make Screens of the same scene with 0x and 4x settings?

Hi dudes  i too still have the bubble blur thing set at x4 but it did seem to be working for the first 5 minutes its the first thing i checked .

I just ran a couple of screenshot tests & its exactly the same for me setting appears to do nothing

Had a couple of minutes with it before breakfast. Thanks for bringing F11 back (plus turning off SSAO), and I really like the new additions you guys did with the ALT+F2 cameras. Very nice camera options that will help out movie makers a lot. For those who haven't tried it, just press ALT+F2 and you cycle through various camera spots on the plane.

Has somewhere been told when we are to expect the skintemplate for the I-16?

Id love to adapt my hawktheme on this one. Maybe something like a red hawk on white ground for the winterversion:)

even thou its a dog to fly if youre used to the speed of the 109 or focke.

I can't try now: does it help for a guncam like view?

Here is the comparison (made in current public version) between balanced with default landscape LOD vs. balanced with x4 landscape LOD. The difference is subtle, but it gives slightly improved overall impression.
