Version 1.011 is live, and here's what it brings to BOS. New Features ... 3. Fixed gun aiming helper was added to Custom difficulty setting; I posted a question about this, but it was buried back on page 8 of a different thread that's back on page 7 of the "new content", so I thought I'd take a shot at asking it again. I tried searching for something related to this but came up empty. But in the notes for the version 1.011 update there was the above information. Has there been any discussion of this gunner aim helper issue over here in BoS? (We've had quite a bit of it on the RoF Forums). I went in to do a QMB to check out the current state of the "bubble of blur" issue (still there ), and was in the gunner position looking around, when I decided to grab the gun and fire off a few rounds. That's when I noticed that there is a gunner aim helper yellow circle that apparently can't be turned off, even though the realism setting mentioned in the above quote is unticked. Is there a way to turn this silly thing off that I just missed?
-TBC-AeroAce Posted June 23, 2015 Posted June 23, 2015 Yes you can turn it off. I am afk ATM so don't know the key but its quite simple. Just look in the controls

TG-55Panthercules Posted June 24, 2015 Author Posted June 24, 2015 SETTINGS/Key Mapping/Service/Aiming help - RCtl+I Awesome - thanks! Not sure why it is on at all when the realism setting box is unticked, but as long as this keymap setting will turn it off (which it appears to do, in the test mission I just ran) then that works for me. Thanks for the response!

TG-55Panthercules Posted June 25, 2015 Author Posted June 25, 2015 because the realism settings is unticked is why its on. OK - I'll bite - why would not ticking this realism setting turn the assist on? I would think that the way this is worded, if you wanted to have the aiming assist on you would have to tick this box.
