Stlkrash Posted October 20, 2013 Posted October 20, 2013 (edited) Yep. "Old Skewl Kewl" Here is the "PC" I started flight simming on. You hooked it to your BLACK AND WHITE TUBE TV.. Look those up kids lol.. 16K of screaming power, and to kick it up a notch, you had CASSETTE TAPES to load from your little cassette radio pluged in the side with a 3mm jack... http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/4/45/ZX81_-_rampack_-_ZX_Printer.jpg http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/1/14/Sinclair_ZX81_Setup_PhotoManipped.jpg And here is the STUNNING Grafix of the later model in color a couple years later... http://www.volny.cz/havlikjosef/pictures/Flight%20Simulation_ZX%20Spectrum_%20ZX81.PNG Edited October 20, 2013 by Stlkrash

Skoshi_Tiger Posted October 21, 2013 Posted October 21, 2013 (edited) What! That screen had more than two colours! Such luxury! My ol' Apple ][+ (clone) only had green and black! (But I did have 140K floppy - the nose-bleeding speed was the envy of all my friends!) I remember plugging in pages of code from the "Nibble" magazine! My favourite was Pengo! Those were days! Rigsby Posted October 21, 2013 Posted October 21, 2013 (edited) I remember Cliffs Of Dover and the game is so much better with Team Fusion 4.0 mod patch. I never really played Cliffs Of Dover because of the bugs, but it's a whole different game with this patch. Multiplayer with 100 players and that is where I will be until this game is released. I will then spend my time on both these sims. Edited October 21, 2013 by Rigsby
