lazynezza50 Posted June 17, 2015 Posted June 17, 2015 Hi.Big fan of Forgotten Battles always play UE edition 1946 and Pacific Battles.......what happened?...This LOOKS great but ant get Trackir to work (after upgrading it to ver 5.2) and even when I play it (low setting graphics) the said graphics are jerky ,not there is alot of highend scenery only snow ,so that would nt overload the card, running window 7 so that should handle it ok? oh well I can just look at the Me109 rotate,,,and also where is the GUNSIGHT view? like to zoom in when shooting russians.
simplyjames Posted June 17, 2015 Posted June 17, 2015 (edited) The Track IR issue can probably be fixed by checking for game updates in the Track IR software(the top left button.)I'm not sure why it would run so poorly for you, but if you go to camera and disable cinematic camera, it will most likely help a ton. I think that turns off motion blur and post processing in general. Not so sure about the gunsight view but I'm guessing you're coming from CoD. I haven't had a need for it since all the planes are set up to practically be in gunsight view. I just got used to it, not sure if that helps.Good luck, hopefully you can get up and running. The game's a dream when you're running smooth. Edited June 17, 2015 by simplyjames
Felix58 Posted June 17, 2015 Posted June 17, 2015 I recently had TrackIR5 issues with DCS, but okay with BOS. Put your TrackIR software onto Camera view and check for unwanted light sources. Any number of things can effect the TrackIR believe it or not. First thing I did was uninstall the TrackIR software, clean the registry, then reload with the current driver. I kept getting lack of focus issues. So it was not the driver installation. Next, boot the game without TrackIR enabled and check that the same issue is not present. Much to my surprise, with DCS the issue remained. Then disable your peripherals one at a time and reboot the game. For some reason my X52 throttle was the cause of the problem! Although it has worked with DCS/flights sims for many years. Good luck with it, also be aware that if you have had the TrackIR for many years it can just wear out. Probably worthwhile posting your PC specs if you want members to offer advice.
