Luckily both thec pilot and the passenger walked away with only minor bruises, which seems incredible, when you consider the damage to the plane: http://ekstrabladet.dk/112/ramte-trae-og-beton-tromle-mirakel-de-overlevede-flystyrt/5595351 (Article in Danish, I post the link mainly for the picture) Reminds me of all the times I've made a rough belly landing in BoS and had the plane pretty much torn apart around me but the pilot remaining unscathed or only lightly injured and thinking: "No way that'd happen IRL!' 6./ZG26_5tuka Posted June 6, 2015 Posted June 6, 2015 Dr400s are tough birds, that why we get our gliders towed by one. Must have been a hell of an impact to rip both wings off. It's always good to hear the pilots are okay unlike the poor Dr400.
