Y-29.Silky Posted June 6, 2015 Posted June 6, 2015 After several updates last fall that made BoS just too much for my laptop to handle, and after 8 long, grueling, painful months, and the unparalleled generosity of @littlewing, I am back in the air over Stalingrad once again, this time without 10fps!Undaunted, I will fly alone if I must, too many of you take this game for granted. Trust me, you don't want to know what it's like being away from such a beautiful game for so long! Also get to use my MaxFlightStick to it's full capacity! See you in the skies! 4

I even sold my Saitek X55, my rudder pedals, and TIR5 was borrowed by a friend, but ... 1) I had an old x52 Pro, half broken ( no buttons work on the joystick unit, only on the HOTAS ), which I am using with PSX, and it works acceptably with IL2 BOS 2) The TIR5 will return next week. I was accustomed to it, and I find it difficult to enter online combats using the keyboard for panning the views... 3) I was missing what I consider still to be the most advanced prop aircraft flight dynamics model available since I use flight simulators, and was really missing the exoperience... 4) With the "Rata" about to get available, I couldn't resist... Also looking fwd for BoM :-)

And I am glad I did return, because a couple of hours using il2 BoS again, even with only my old / broken x52 Pro, proved that indeed this is the best prop aircraft sim I ever used :-)
