Hi I was wondering if the devs or somebody in the community had the figures for the empty weights (every thing but fuel) for each aircraft?

I'm not interested in what they should be but what number is actually being used by the game engine.

I need this because I want to publish a coherant set of flight tests that can be relied apon for information for the community

Thanks

I was meant to say the weight of everthing that can't be removed I.e. the airframe, pilot and gun ammo

Also I was wondering if anyone knows that if u set unlimited fuel in the QMB will the fuel mass stay constant at what is selected?

Good question, I don't know how one would measure the weight though.

I have some numbers, these are from Soviet Flight tests:

Yak-1, series 69: empty 2412kg, loaded 2917kg

La-5: empty 2681kg, loaded 3360kg

1942 Lagg-3 (w. M105P): empty 2531kg, loaded 3100kg.

given the large differences, I suspect the empty weight is for the bare aircraft, i.e. without pilot, fuel, ammo, weapons, radio, etc.

Thank u but I was looking for exact numbers the game engine uses in its physical model so I can do some flight testing. Not the real world figures

those numbers will be as secret as the flight tests used for some of the data, imo.
