avlSteve Posted May 25, 2015 Posted May 25, 2015 I posted a bug report, but now I'm second guessing myself. I should be able to control the prop pitch manually (by switching off auto) in the 109G, right? I ask because the auto/manual key mapping works, but neither my axis nor keyboard mappings control the pitch. I can only halt pitch movement with the auto/manual key.
9./JG27golani79 Posted May 25, 2015 Posted May 25, 2015 (edited) Can´t get it to work on an axis - but then I´m not sure if it´s supposed to work on an axis as it was controlled with buttons. Mapping it to buttons on my HOTAS works fine. Edited May 25, 2015 by 9./JG27golani79 1
avlSteve Posted May 25, 2015 Author Posted May 25, 2015 I've tried both the y axis and center rocker buttons on my saitek throttle quadrant, and buttons on my CH Fighterstick, and also the keyboard. The settings screen recognizes my inputs, but in game I get no response.
avlSteve Posted May 25, 2015 Author Posted May 25, 2015 (edited) Sorted. I was using the "Propellers pitch control" setting, which is apparently only for allied aircraft. That includes mapping it to the throttle quad. I used the "Propellers: high pitch" and low pitch mappings and it works on both German aircraft I tried (109G and 190). The worst part is, this is all deja vu. Edited May 25, 2015 by avlSteve 1
