Hello all,

 

I mentioned in a recent post that I have been away from the sim for a while. To make a long story boring, I'm flying ground attack missions in the sp campaign and I've noticed that there is a bomb/rocket caret, for lack of a better term, displayed when carrying bombs and/or rockets. I don't remember seeing these things in earlier versions of the sim.

 

Is it a recent addition, and are they useful for anything other than cluttering up the screen?

Recent, and meant to help people learn how to aim their weapons. Hide it if you don't like it.  Personally, I found it useful in learning how the He 111's bombsight works.

Ah ok, I never thought to use it when level bombing, pretty good idea actually.
