WINGMEN!!

I flew with dedicated wingmen today on TS. It was the most fun I've had in online gaming in almost a decade. I've been lone wolfing it since EA in BOS. The last time I was in a squad was around 2005. Flyinb with wingmen is absolutely the way to fly this sim.  

 

I'm glad I took the chance and invite any non-affiliated Lufties to join us. Not quite a squadron, mostly a lose affiliation. So far we are aiming for Mondays and Tuesdays 12-3'ish PST. Tactics are evolving but fun for all. Normal server for the next couple of weeks before jumping over to Expert. We have our own TS3 channel and have plenty of room to grow.

 

Thanks to those guys for flying with me.  I'll let them name themselves if they wish.

That was really good fun yesterday evening... for sure... even if I was on the other side of the border, I do confirm flying in coop is definitely The way to go..

 

both Aero and Volc' are on the same mindstate I assume...

I wish I had the time to join a squad. Flying with others is propably the only way I'll ever get used to flying without icons. My spotting just sucks.

Anyhoo its been really good playing with people even if we are not the most organised. Its quite amazing how far a little team work goes!!

The title is Murf's Luftspeak Channel but you can join if you'd like. I always enjoy flying with/against you.   

 

I've only ever seen you in a Yak. We are just using the lobby right now but I can make some Allied channels if it gets too crowded in there.  

 

I'll PM you the channel. Not opening it up to everyone just yet. I think Uriah and SpaceSheep are interested on the Russian side as well.

yep... I admit I connected once or two but didn't even had a clue to what you were sayin.... remember I'am french.... so my english may not be as fluent as you guys.... 

that's why I prefered to stay muted and then aborted any attempts... but be sure I'll give it another try soon Aérobase

just be patient ... I'm a complete novice with teamspeak....

The coordinated pair takeoffs and landings left a little to be desired yesterday but that was mostly my fault. Not much taxi practice in the Normal servers. Formation flying, however, wasn't as stress inducing as I remember it from '46. Plenty of room for improvement, plenty of time to practice.
