Darko2012 Posted May 16, 2015 Posted May 16, 2015 Hi everyone, I am new to this forum, but have been playing WWII simulations for more than 20 years...You guys are doing a fantastic job and this is the best, most exciting and artistic simulation there is! Is it possible to play IL-2 in stereoscopic 3d? This would be the ultimate real-life experience! For flying simulations real stereoscopic 3d is essential I think. Thanks for the great work, Darko
SAG Posted May 17, 2015 Posted May 17, 2015 No official support for Oculus Rift at least--goes away crying....
Feathered_IV Posted May 17, 2015 Posted May 17, 2015 No official support for Oculus Rift I think it turned out to be the other way around. O-R dropped all DX9 support despite their mega budget. 777 did everything they could to meet the rift developrs half way. 1

Thanks for the great work, Darko Of course it is possible to play in stereoscopic 3D (Nvidia 3D vision) - and it is awesome experience. 1

-TBC-AeroAce Posted May 18, 2015 Posted May 18, 2015 (edited) Is a shame for sure but from my understanding its still quite far from being practical so maybe we are not missing too much atm Edited May 18, 2015 by AeroBase
Beazil Posted May 18, 2015 Posted May 18, 2015 Is it possible to play IL-2 in stereoscopic 3d? Yes. It's not perfect, but it works.
Toxin1 Posted May 18, 2015 Posted May 18, 2015 Yes, it works pretty well using the Helix mod. See this thread in the tech issues section. http://forum.il2sturmovik.com/topic/14510-nvidia-3d-vision-fix/
