oneeyeddog Posted May 16, 2015 Posted May 16, 2015 http://dreamsimteam.blogspot.ru/2015/05/simshaker-for-dcs-world-1045-update.html Does anyone use one of these or know anything about them? I just happened upon this yesterday and I'd like to know more about peoples experience with this line of products. I use a ButtKicker Gamer 2 however this seems to be a new generation of Bass Shaker for simming. I think you are able to customize and adjust the effect for different sounds or events that happen in the virtual world. I appreciate any comments or opinions.
Bando Posted May 16, 2015 Posted May 16, 2015 A guy called Andre had some posts about it about a week ago. For the life of me, I can't find the topic. I searched for "Andre" and found the poster, but the system said he never posted here. Don't know what happened. I'm interested too, as Andre explained that most systems use the sound from the game to generate vibrations, he was writing software for certain devices that use game code as the origin of the vibration system. I was interested, but the topic seems to have vanished.
NikonDave Posted May 16, 2015 Posted May 16, 2015 here you go..I think this is what you mean.. http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=142801

Most of the info ive found has been in Russian but what i did find and/or translate seems very cool.
oneeyeddog Posted May 16, 2015 Author Posted May 16, 2015 (edited) Here is another link related to developing software for the SimShaker, specifically for DCS. It appears to have separate settings for Prop AC, Jet AC and Helos. I really hope this will work with BoS and BoM in the near future. https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/simshaker-for-dcs-world-sound-mode-expansion Edited May 16, 2015 by oneeyeddog
II/JG17_HerrMurf Posted May 16, 2015 Posted May 16, 2015 Before it got locked he stated it would not work for BOS/BOM.
6./ZG26_Custard Posted May 16, 2015 Posted May 16, 2015 Not a sim shaker but have a look at this http://www.simpit.co.nz/index.php/products/titan-hd
-TBC-AeroAce Posted May 18, 2015 Posted May 18, 2015 I have a pair of vibrations/bass gaming head phones and they are very good
VR-DriftaholiC Posted June 6, 2016 Posted June 6, 2016 Just started considering this as I'm moving away from my G940 as I've already replaced most components it came with. I sure do miss the feedback from stalling etc. Has anyone tried one of these in FFB compatibility mode? Anything to report?
SvAF/F16_Goblin Posted June 7, 2016 Posted June 7, 2016 I have one and unfortunately it is not compatible with BoS/BoM software. It can be run in FF mode for old IL-2 and CoD. In DCS it runs of LUA output of flight data in real time. Excellent piece of hardware.
