Installing the DServer

Hi all, 

 

Ok, I have been reading and searching on the forums but I'm not able to find where to download it? 

 

 

I know that is in my bin folder in my client but I have a dedicated server and I Want to install it there. In the tools section of Steam does not show. 

Do I need to download the entire client again in the serveR? 

 

 

 

PD: I already have a dedicated server account activated.

I would assume you need another client on your dedicated server machine, then login using your dserver key.

Yes. There is no way to download or update dserver and required for it data only via Launcher.

You can copy already downloaded folders to a server if you want. Sometimes you need to install MS VC++ Runtime library.

There is headless launcher, which starts in console, although it is rarely used.
