Mapping Keys and controller X52

Greetings all, new here. Just purchased and installed the game today and am looking forward to it except....

When I go into settings and try to map new keys or try to change any joystick mappings or settings, it will not allow me to do so.

I keep getting a "Null" message every time I try to change anything. I rebooted computer after install, check all Game controllers in Win 7

and all is working perfect. (also rechecked other sims like IL2 Sturmovik). All other programs work fine.

I have a X52 joystick with the throttle and ch pro pedals for rudder.

I cannot map anything.

Seems to be an in game issue, any help would be greatly appreciated.

This may not help but you can give it a try. I have the X52 Pro also. Be sure to rename you present input files first to say Input Bak, and then unzip this into you data folder. If it works for you or helps you can add to it. IF not then simply delete it, the input folder, and rename your old one back to input.

Figured out the issue...

I had my track IR working when I was trying to map and ANY movement caused a "null"

Shut down trackir, restarted game, was able to map keys and Joy. Exited game, re-started trackir, started game and all seems good so far!
