Original_Uwe Posted May 7, 2015 Posted May 7, 2015 Hi all. I recently made a bunch of tracks for a thread in the FM section. In game I had the full HUD displaying speed, heading, altitude and all that jazz, along with a map open showing waypoints and of course the waypoints and labels applied to everything in the game world. Now Im trying to send this to Han, but all of my tracks are just the plane. No map, no HUD, nothing. Further I cant open them in the track. Im awfully confused, is there a trick to getting all that info to show up?
Original_Uwe Posted May 7, 2015 Author Posted May 7, 2015 No. Ill admit I reset a lot of control options but those (H and I) still work for me in game, but not in track.
Finkeren Posted May 7, 2015 Posted May 7, 2015 Strange. That does sound like a bug. My controls work fine.

From what I have read and experienced tracks made in prev update versions don't work/ work properly in the "new updated version". So every time the game does an update the tracks made prior to that won't work properly if at all. So if the tracks are before the current version that may be the reason.
LoneStar Posted May 7, 2015 Posted May 7, 2015 Unfortunately, HUD telemetry does not appear in track recordings (.trk files). If it can be done, I have not found how to do it. I would like to have this option to review-analyze performance. The only workaround is to record with ShadowPlay or Fraps but you will not be able to change views when you view the recordings.
Original_Uwe Posted May 7, 2015 Author Posted May 7, 2015 Wow, so rule 18 is absolutely pointless without 3rd party software. Figures.
