SharpeXB Posted May 21, 2015 Posted May 21, 2015 All this VR stuff is so over-rated. I'd rather be able to see my beer and other surrounding environment. Not a problem... 2
VR-DriftaholiC Posted May 21, 2015 Posted May 21, 2015 All this VR stuff is so over-rated. I'd rather be able to see my beer and other surrounding environment. The hype is real! Have you tried a Oculus? It's pretty freaking amazing.
Warpig Posted May 27, 2015 Posted May 27, 2015 Not a problem... OMG! Finally a practical use for this! lol
DigitalEngine Posted June 6, 2015 Author Posted June 6, 2015 Valve/HTC Vive Dev Kit Unboxing!!! Getting Closer... Really wish Valve would open up the Dev Kit to the public!! 1
JG27_Chivas Posted June 6, 2015 Posted June 6, 2015 It appears the latest Vive headset has a physical IPD adjustment, but unfortunately there are no known combat flight sims supporting it. Apparently the Oculus CV1 is going to be shown, and live streamed on Thursday June 11. Hopefully they will also have an IPD adjustment. The beauty of the Vive and Rift having dual displays is that an IPD adjustment can move the displays as well as the lenses, which should could make the adjustment work much better than adjusting the software on a single display.
DigitalEngine Posted July 9, 2015 Author Posted July 9, 2015 At this time, I'm probabley going to go with the HTC Vive, still open though... It would be absolutly cool if the new IL-2 Sturmovik would support this device... Just wish I could get my hands on one of the developer kits, Novembers sooooo far away!!!
