6./ZG26_Emil Posted April 29, 2015 Posted April 29, 2015 I was looking fthrough some tracks and and I can't figure out how to zoom out the pilot view, the default view is very zoomed in so you can't always see what I'm looking. Does anyone know how to zoom the view out?
Brano Posted April 29, 2015 Posted April 29, 2015 I think it is possible. You have to press some key combination and have free lookout in the cockpit. But away from my gaming rig so I dont know which it is exactly.
6./ZG26_Emil Posted April 29, 2015 Author Posted April 29, 2015 Thanks Brano, I didn't want to use freelook because I wanted to demonstrate to someone what I was doing at the time.
Brano Posted April 29, 2015 Posted April 29, 2015 I will get home in about 1h so I can check out.If you will not figure it out till then
Brano Posted April 29, 2015 Posted April 29, 2015 OK,it is alt+F1 in my game setup. It will allow free view around+zooming when playing the track.
senseispcc Posted April 29, 2015 Posted April 29, 2015 (edited) Try F2 If you want to see other planes of the same side press Alt+F2 For the extrenal view of the ennemy press Ctrl+F2 It work during a mission and during the "spectate" of a track record. http://s10.postimg.org/nn6jmaqyh/jpg_2014_11_22_19_4_2.JPG Edited April 29, 2015 by senseispcc
6./ZG26_Emil Posted April 29, 2015 Author Posted April 29, 2015 Brano if I don't touch the mouse will it follow my trackIR? Not sure if I explained it properly before but partly I wanted to demonstrate a maneuver and show how I was looking at a target whilst doing it. Cheers Emil
DD_Arthur Posted April 29, 2015 Posted April 29, 2015 Emil; try the camera controls - the last one called "head - unlinked cockpit". Lots of fun to be had with it. Also, the track recording system will be able to recreate the mission from the gunners view point too. As an example, take the PE2 and create a quick mission. Hit fly and then hit record. Now move to the gunners position for, say, 5 seconds and then move back to the cockpit and fly your mission. During playback, when you jump to the gunner position, hit the head - unlinked cockpit key and you can witness the whole mission from the gunner position. Check out 3 minutes in to see what I mean.
AndyHill Posted April 29, 2015 Posted April 29, 2015 I think I had to use the external zoom keys to zoom the pilot's view during track replay, not the usual zoom I use while flying. Maybe you could try that?
SharpeXB Posted April 29, 2015 Posted April 29, 2015 F1 gives you a close in zoom cockpit view Ctrl+F1 gives you the normal in game playback pit view
