SCG_Neun Posted October 14, 2013 Posted October 14, 2013 (edited) In cruising through the photos....you can see the love of history......and a weapon from time to time......Kind of makes me feel at home. Me on the far right, and granted......many moons ago. Edited October 14, 2013 by JagdNeun
Mars27 Posted October 14, 2013 Posted October 14, 2013 And.....no, i wont post gun pics. Not a particularly good idea in Northern Ireland Would you buy a used car from this man?
SCG_Neun Posted October 14, 2013 Posted October 14, 2013 Would you buy a used car from this man? Hmmmm, if he could belt out "Whiskey in the Jar".......perhaps I would. But the steering wheel would have to be on the left side of the car.
DD_Arthur Posted October 14, 2013 Posted October 14, 2013 Me on the far right, and granted......many moons ago. Admit it JagdNeun; you and your wife are Fred and Daphne from Scooby Doo. Glad to see you did the right thing by her and lived happily ever-after!!

II./JG27_Rich Posted October 14, 2013 Posted October 14, 2013 Happily inspecting my virtual workplace... I get so mad when I see people like this and Bendwick and his JG4 pals playing around in real 109s and 190s...GRR!
Zorin Posted October 14, 2013 Posted October 14, 2013 A rather varied group of individuals, who would have not gotten to know eachother if not for a passion they share, well and the internet that sort of helps to bridge the gap between real world distances 2

Although anyone who doesn't have a personal PC today is pretty much lost, buying mine back in 1997 was the smartest thing I ever did. It opened up a whole new world of fun and new people.

ATAG_Slipstream Posted October 14, 2013 Posted October 14, 2013 Well put Zorin. Very very true. I have met several people from several countries due to flight simming. For all the ( in the past) bickering, I love you all really! 2
6high Posted October 14, 2013 Posted October 14, 2013 Meh God almighty Uther, when did you grow THAT thing? I must admit i really suits you!
=BKHZ=Furbs Posted October 14, 2013 Posted October 14, 2013 Uther's beard reminds me of the stoning scene in the "Life of Brian" 2

dkoor Posted October 14, 2013 Posted October 14, 2013 My avatar is much better than my ugly face. It came from a comic story I published six or seven years ago. Here is the whole page. For the non-Italian speaking people: two friends discover the difference between flight simulation and real flying, in a strange place with strange animals. Hey this reminded me of a comic I recently read: http://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kenya_(bande_dessin%C3%A9e) I really liked it. I also like the looks of your work . BTW here's me on a trip this, earlier this year (spring) visiting one of the prettiest national parks in my country by my preferred ride - bike :
--loner--Dovla Posted October 14, 2013 Posted October 14, 2013 ok this is my face recently :-) and another one of my faces to the left

HeavyCavalrySgt Posted October 15, 2013 Posted October 15, 2013 Wait, are we doing military, firearms, aircraft or motorcycles? Aboard a UH-60 in the Fallon NAS range complex Ft. Irwin, 11th ACR; Allons! At Sage Hill Gun Club with my 1897. The Winchester, while not ideal for clays stiil runs great although the gun club has closed. After a nice day in Ace Aviation's DA-40 with my wife and a friend. I like the DA-40 a lot but it was designed with someone a MUCH shorter in mind. Getting close to Lake Tahoe (over the ridge), with some icy lakes below. Chessmen Ridge, a bit over 10,000 feet.
Jason_Williams Posted October 15, 2013 Posted October 15, 2013 No we're doing firearms, pets and pajamas! Jason 1 1 2
Cybermat47 Posted October 15, 2013 Posted October 15, 2013 No we're doing firearms, pets and pajamas! Gun-Gracie-1.jpg Jason Woah. The combination of gun and creepy glowing dog eyes makes that a pretty awesome photo.
FlatSpinMan Posted October 15, 2013 Posted October 15, 2013 In future, when considering whinging about FM's or something, I encourage you all to briefly contemplate Jason's above picture, and ask yourself if complaining to this man is really something you want to do :-) :-) :-) You might also want ask yourself, "Do I feel lucky today?" If you answered 'yes' to both questions, then go ahead and submit that post. But when the gimlet eyed hound is chasing you across the fields, don't say you weren't warned... :-) Now, if anybody takes all that seriously I am going to permaban them from the entire internet.:-) 2
=BKHZ=Furbs Posted October 15, 2013 Posted October 15, 2013 What's more scary? The gun? The devil dog? or Jason's PJ's?
II./JG27_Rich Posted October 15, 2013 Posted October 15, 2013 What's more scary? The gun? The devil dog? or Jason's PJ's? Jason is scary with that grin and that thing he's holding
DD_bongodriver Posted October 15, 2013 Posted October 15, 2013 it's like the pug is actually posing too, that's one badass pug.
Cybermat47 Posted October 15, 2013 Posted October 15, 2013 Jason is scary with that grin and that thing he's holding I trust that man to give us a good game

SOLIDKREATE Posted October 15, 2013 Author Posted October 15, 2013 (edited) Happily inspecting my virtual workplace... Wow man and you're in a 'G' model too. I can tell by the cockpit pressurization intake just below your windscreen. Edited October 15, 2013 by Erg./JG54_SPEKTRE
Cybermat47 Posted October 15, 2013 Posted October 15, 2013 Happily inspecting my virtual workplace... Awesome! How did you get to go into a 109?
I/JG27_Rollo Posted October 15, 2013 Posted October 15, 2013 @Spektre: yup, it's a restored G-2. Some squadmates and me were granted the special permission to have a seat in both the 109 and a replica 190 A-8 when we were visiting a museum earlier this year...
Cybermat47 Posted October 15, 2013 Posted October 15, 2013 (edited) Here's me outside HMAS Onslow last year: It was a bit too crowded to get a picture of me inside EDIT: I'm actually aboard HMAS Vampire, which is moored next to the HMAS Onslow in Sydney Harbour. Both are fully accessible to the public. Edited October 15, 2013 by Cybermat47
Kleinburger Posted October 15, 2013 Posted October 15, 2013 There's me and my son at an Airshow in Brownsville, Tx earlier this year in March. The plane in the picture is a Focke Wulf FW-44 "Stieglitz". One of the various trainers they have at their museum there.
=LD=Scronce Posted October 15, 2013 Posted October 15, 2013 Damn can't find the pic of me infront of H.M.S Edinburgh, after she just came into Port for the last time... Escorted by 2 Spitfires... I was so so lucky to hear that engine scream past me such an awesome sound.
BlitzPig_EL Posted October 15, 2013 Posted October 15, 2013 OK, I'll play... Myself, my buddy Nikko the Shiba Inu, and my Triumph Bonneville. Have no pics of me shooting, but I do quite regularly...
FuriousMeow Posted October 15, 2013 Posted October 15, 2013 (edited) Photo after a buddy's birthday hockey game, played with the Hanson brothers from the movie Slapshot National Guard Annual Training, you can tell it's very enjoyable Some infantry guys found this kitten stowed away in the wheel well of one of their up-armor HMMWVs. She must have been in there for about 6 hours on the ride to Ft. Pickett in VA. We (the medical platoon) took care of her for a few days until finally she was picked up and adopted by another soldier's wife. Edited October 15, 2013 by FuriousMeow
