Y-29.Silky Posted October 23, 2014 Posted October 23, 2014 You wouldn't be Canadian by any chance, would ya? Hunting, a took (that hat thing), ice-hockey... If so, lucky you! I went there for the first time this summer. Brilliant place! I'm actually Minnesotan, pretty much the same thing! Canada is a beautiful country!

Do they have a Heinkel? In that case I need to go see it:-o The armed forces has taken over this museum and it is possible it will close. That Heinkel is a paratroper / transport version of the Heinkel. They got one in Bodoe North Norway too. Its nose gun come from a Heinkel I have dived to many times, It crash landed after a convoy attack outside Tromsoe

LLv34_Vellu Posted February 20, 2015 Posted February 20, 2015 (edited) Hello It is very interesting to see what kind of people fly this sim all over world. There are few photos about me: My personal skin for F4 Our squadron all skins are made by SFF_Esso Few years ago our squadron tested glider The fellows back to me is SFF_Hermi One of my hobbies and one part of my job. Few minutes before the photo has been shot I was in a hole of the ice. Most important "tools" in the work. and this I was in the Aviation museum of Central Finland Edited February 20, 2015 by SFF_Vellu
voncrapenhauser Posted February 20, 2015 Posted February 20, 2015 I once owned a Renault 6 me too... And tried to commit suicide Aaaaaaw I loved my R6 TL. Your first love mmmmm. Looking back it was a bit crap TBH.
FlatSpinMan Posted February 21, 2015 Posted February 21, 2015 Seeing that wrecked Brewster I just had a strong sudden urge to play the old IL2 Single Missions over the Gulf of Finland map. They were really fun. Nothing has made me want to get back into it as strongly as that one photo did. 1
Trooper117 Posted February 21, 2015 Posted February 21, 2015 IL2 1946 is the game I'm still flying most on a regular basis...
LLv34_Vellu Posted February 23, 2015 Posted February 23, 2015 (edited) Hello There are few photos more from BW-372. She condition is unbelievable after 56 years bottom of Carelian lake. Edited February 23, 2015 by SFF_Vellu 1
Heliopause Posted February 23, 2015 Posted February 23, 2015 (edited) Just a pic of a Dutch (replica) Brewster for the fun of it.... Edited February 23, 2015 by Heliopause
I/JG27_Rollo Posted February 25, 2015 Posted February 25, 2015 Hello There are few photos more from BW-372. She condition is unbelievable after 56 years bottom of Carelian lake. DSC_2859.JPG DSC_2950.JPG Progress on the Brewster seems to have been rather slow. I've been there some 6 years ago (the museum, not the bottom of a Carelian lake) and it doesn't appear to look much better today.
LLv34_Vellu Posted February 26, 2015 Posted February 26, 2015 As long as BW-372 is in Finland more restoration won't been done. They want to show BW-372 there condition what it was in August 1998. There is link to museum's pages where are more information from BW-372 http://www.airforcemuseum.fi/brewster_arrived_finland Just a pic of a Dutch (replica) Brewster for the fun of it.... Heliopause It is interesting to see more photos for your replica. There are more information from Brewsters. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brewster_F2A_Buffalo
