TX-EcoDragon Posted June 10, 2014 Posted June 10, 2014 (edited) Video still from a flight in the Pitts S2-C 5 meter Thermik XXXL hucked off Mt. Tamalpais: When I lived in a hangar apartment at KDWH in Spring Texas. I miss that place, an RV6 taxiing by my C6 Vette. That's an Extra 300L! Edited June 10, 2014 by TX-EcoDragon 1
FlatSpinMan Posted July 11, 2014 Posted July 11, 2014 Great to see you all. sallee - that was great. A man not to be messed with. Eco-dragon - I didn't know the Pitts could fly in the martian atmosphere. Interesting what you learn on flight sim forums. BTW, did anyone else think Ecodragon's second picture was of him widdling? I scrolled UP to it, which may explain my thought-processes. Seren - what kind of bikes did you sell? Motorbikes or proper ones?
SOLIDKREATE Posted July 11, 2014 Author Posted July 11, 2014 (edited) no bike pics, sadly sold them all <3 ^^^^^^^^^ =o) Edited July 11, 2014 by .VMF/214_SPEKTRE76
pilotpierre Posted July 23, 2014 Posted July 23, 2014 no bike pics, sadly sold them all Seren, you look like the lead (French) female role in "The Tunnel" (ABC 2130 Sunday Nights). Typical Brit bloody good show.
Densetsu Posted July 24, 2014 Posted July 24, 2014 (edited) Here's a photo of me during my time in the RAF. Edited July 24, 2014 by Hal
SOLIDKREATE Posted July 26, 2014 Author Posted July 26, 2014 I'm really glad I started this thread. It's great we can all meet eachother and get to know who we will be fighting beside.
6./ZG26_5tuka Posted July 27, 2014 Posted July 27, 2014 No need to be shy, here comes me And this is the beautyfull machine I'm sitting in. This Fox is a stunt glider and hell it was a fun flight! This expirience was totally amazing. I've not only made spins with it, but also pulled barrel rolls and even loops (with my flight teacher being scared for his life ). I totally recommend this expirience (just be warned to mind your stomachic) . 1
IIN8II Posted July 28, 2014 Posted July 28, 2014 Cheers! Got to spend some time in Berlin and Prague a few years back when I was an athlete, pretty awesome experience. 1
Nankeen Posted August 23, 2014 Posted August 23, 2014 Couldn't help but notice we have some bike fans in our community, so I thought I would share this. Believe it or not, this used to be a "Bratz" bike! My son and I decided to convert it to an electric, olive drab military style, pedal bike 1

-NW-ChiefRedCloud Posted August 26, 2014 Posted August 26, 2014 Me and the misses on cool winter day .... Since we're showing our rides I guess I'll show this ...
kissklas Posted August 26, 2014 Posted August 26, 2014 That sure is a dark beer =o). I bet it was good. That is a bayer. Pretty malty. A touch of caramel. Not especially bitter I would say, but still, more interesting than a light lager. I do prefer bayer over pilsner. Since we're showing our rides I guess I'll show this ... Oh! Automatic refuelling and everything. High tech!
DD_bongodriver Posted August 31, 2014 Posted August 31, 2014 Didn't realise you were so cute ACE......you should ditch the looser though, he looks like a wrongun!.......

Blooddawn1942 Posted September 1, 2014 Posted September 1, 2014 Is this the Corsair next to the USS Alabama? In Mobile, right? I've been there back in 1994.
GOAT-ACEOFACES Posted September 5, 2014 Posted September 5, 2014 Is this the Corsair next to the USS Alabama? In Mobile, right? I've been there back in 1994. no, it is the Corsair in Chino CA, that they take out and fly from time to time, that just happen to be one of the days they were flying it
Blooddawn1942 Posted September 7, 2014 Posted September 7, 2014 You were lucky then! I love this awesome monstermachine. I saw it once flying in the mid80's on an airshow in germany. I was not older than 10 back then, but I remember it very well!:-)
Cybermat47 Posted September 7, 2014 Posted September 7, 2014 Great picture, ACEOFACES Here I am, as of now.
FlatSpinMan Posted September 7, 2014 Posted September 7, 2014 Here's one of me from this summer on a 'business trip' to the Canadian Rockies. Awesome, awesome place. Just loved it. I'm on the left. EDIT: Just shrunk down the photo size a little.
9./JG27golani79 Posted September 7, 2014 Posted September 7, 2014 Here we go. A selfie and one deep in the austrian woods ^^
GOAT-ACEOFACES Posted September 9, 2014 Posted September 9, 2014 You were lucky then! Not just then, I grew up near Chino airport, and chino has been restoring WWII planes for ~50 years.. As a kid, it was 'no big deal' to see a P-38, P-51, B-25, etc fly over my house as I was mowing the lawn or feeding the horses. As a kid I just figured that is the way it was everywhere, we use to ride our bikes, horses, or motorcycles down to Chino and watch them take off and land. It was not until I got older that I realized how lucky I was to grow up where I did. These days Chino has dozens of 'flyable' WWII airplanes, and every month (2nd Sat of the month) they do a mini airshow and fly one of them. They also have the annual airshow that is 2nd to none, where they get all the flyables and more up in the air. That and some of the planes are privately owned, and the owners will regularly take the planes out and fly them down to San Diego for lunch, which my old house just happened to be in that flight path, which is why it was no big deal to see a WWII plane fly by from my house. forgot the Chino link http://planesoffame.org/
Mikey Posted September 9, 2014 Posted September 9, 2014 Here's me a few years ago with a tasty walleye caught from the Wapsipinicon river.
