Does someone know: IL-2 trim tabs?

Something I've wondered for a while: Can someone explain to me, why the IL-2 seems to have a trim tab on each aileron, yet has no adjustible aileron trim?

Are they fixed trim tabs or are they not for trimming at all, and of so: what are they?

I will check my Il2 book at home and will come back to you later evening.

I guess they are adjustable only on the ground, similar to 109 and a lot of planes in general

I thought about that as well, but there seems to be a rod going from a fairing on the upper wing surface to the tab, which at least to my logic would mean that it's adjustible.

Yeah u will adjust it with that rod on the ground but its not linked to any control in the cockpit

it's not trims. it's... i don't know english word for that. "geared trim tab" or something like that.

when aileron moves this thing moves in opposite side and makes handle (stick) easier.

Thanks! Makes perfect sense. Will have to check in the sim to see, if it actually moves correctly.

:thank_you:
