They are all still in Data/missions folder but don't appear in game ...do I have to go "OFF-LINE" to fly them?

You need to relocate them to your steam version folders: ProgramFiles/Steam/Steamapps/common/il2....

Your controls will be different too, so you can just copy those over from your old files in 'data/input' over to your new steam version.

Hope this helps.

I've had all day to think about this & wonder if there was a different folder for Steam...you've answered that question...I wonder if I have to place all the third party skins I collected there too...Probably huh?

Thanks for your help!! :salute:

This steam folders drove me crazy. And if you have a SSD on C:/ , and you want the steam games on another drive, it gets even better. Steam will still use C:/ for some stuff. So you loose control over the used folders.

And if you want to change a drive, you are either expert, or you install everthing again...

...I am maybe just too old for this  :)

Blackdevil-It installed in C/Program files. If I wanted to could I just move it to c/Programfile(x86 )where Steam Cliffs of Dover resides?Windows7 likes things better there apparently.

Also I now have two installs- my previous non Steam that is up-to-date & of course Steam.I am trying to figure out just what I've gained...???

No worries man :)

It's only really an advantage for people who already use steam, I use it for most of my other games, just useful for joining other peoples games etc... otherwise there is no advantage at all, except for the overlay which would be useful for people with only one screen (there is an internet browser you can use while in-game).

From a devs point of view? more publicity for them if steam is used as friends can see you playing it, also people who bought from this site who have moved to steam will probably provide it with positive feedback, right now the reviews are 'mixed'. Some people will say that they don't use the steam reviews as they are complete bollocks, true or not, a lot of people do.
