BM357_TinMan Posted April 20, 2015 Posted April 20, 2015 I'm hoping someone can tell me how to use this.I'm trying to set it up so that a flight of AI Yaks activate when I fly my 109 into a certain area. However, I can't quite figure it out and I couldn't find any info about it in the ROF manual.I did a search here but couldn't seem to find anything specific about it. Thanks in advance TynMahn
No601_Swallow Posted April 20, 2015 Posted April 20, 2015 There's a little information (actually in the form of more questions!) in this thread, which points back to this forum here. As an Hors D'ouevre, Prangster's put up another wee tutorial - this one about checkzones.
BM357_TinMan Posted April 20, 2015 Author Posted April 20, 2015 Thanks for you reply and info.I had already been to the Tangmere post. I couldn't figure out, from that post, what the event pointed back to and I missed that it linked back to the thread that you linked in your reply here.I got to do the whole "work" thing, but I'll check it out when I get home. Hopefully it will work.As an aside, Prangster's videos have been invaluable for the simple, "this is how you do it" mission editor. I have spent some time searching for, reading and watching various tutorials and, while they may be really good at what they are trying to explain, for the beginner, like me, a more simplified step 1, step 2, basics is much more helpful. His videos fill this role rather well (this complex trigger thing notwithstanding). If you are in contact with him, thank him for me.
No601_Swallow Posted April 20, 2015 Posted April 20, 2015 (edited) Hopefully he'll be along soon himself to take the accolades! (By the way, just to embarrass him, I'll tell you that back in the days when we were young and innocent, he did the de Havilland Mosquito for IL2. Couldn't BoS use a Wooden Wonder? Let's start a petittion!...) Edited April 20, 2015 by No601_Swallow
