ArgonV Posted April 19, 2015 Posted April 19, 2015 Hi gents, I have CrossfireX enabled for my AMD 295x2 and I've always had flickering on the main menu text, when with the multiu-GPU config option checked. Any ideas?
helios123 Posted May 18, 2015 Posted May 18, 2015 Yes i have flickering in menu, and sometimes flicking on ground. BTW do you ever get any hard reset of computer playing this game? it seems only this game wants to hard reset my computer without warning when using 290x cf.
Boomerang Posted May 18, 2015 Posted May 18, 2015 Running a 290x, no probs to date, are you guys running the latest omega drivers? Link: http://support.amd.com/en-us/download
helios123 Posted May 18, 2015 Posted May 18, 2015 we talking crossfire, single 290x is another story.
ArgonV Posted May 21, 2015 Author Posted May 21, 2015 (edited) Thanks, I'm not the only one then... No hard resets yet, but I have seen this game push my CrossfireX power drawl to about 900W at times! Edited May 21, 2015 by ArgonV
helios123 Posted May 21, 2015 Posted May 21, 2015 Which 290x s are you running? are they at stock speeds? If not what speed you run that at and what kind of performance do you get?
ArgonV Posted May 28, 2015 Author Posted May 28, 2015 I have the 295x, with is dual GPU but on one PCB. They are stock, though I've never ran with CrossfireX off...
Windies Posted July 8, 2015 Posted July 8, 2015 (edited) I was going to post about this, I have 2x R9 290's in crossfire and get the flickering and also get hard crashes on load that cause the computer to stop responding. Only happens with BOS, I have ROF and a bunch of other games and never had a problem. Should mention the flickering is there in ROF but the crashes are not. I actually wonder if the crashes are input related, for instance if I have Spotify running in the background playing music it continues playing fine as thought the computer hasn't crashed, I just lose all input from keyboard, mouse etc..... It only seems to crash on load as well, if it loads the game plays fine other than the flickering issue's. *edit* just disabled the cinematic check box in camera because I hate the motion blur and coincidentally noticed it got rid of the flickering. ArgonV Posted August 15, 2016 Author Posted August 15, 2016 Any update on the CrossfireX menu flickering and FOV issues with triple screens?
ArgonV Posted August 18, 2016 Author Posted August 18, 2016 Some more data: When running across 3 screens with Crossfire on (Full screen) I get menu flickering and sometimes a black screen when entering the mission. Across one screen with Crossfire on (Full screen), I get no menu flickering and no black screen when entering the mission. I may try a new vid card driver soon.
ArgonV Posted August 22, 2016 Author Posted August 22, 2016 Tried a new driver (The latest AMD 16.xx) and I can report no change...
ArgonV Posted December 31, 2016 Author Posted December 31, 2016 An update! Running the AMD 15.8 Catalyst drivers with the latest DX11 Patch has solved the issue! No more screen flickering, I can use CrossfireX and I get great fps! Thanks 777!
johnmw54 Posted December 31, 2016 Posted December 31, 2016 how have you managed to run the game on crossfire? mine isn't working, i click on the option in the launcher but it wont start the game in crossfire...
ArgonV Posted December 31, 2016 Author Posted December 31, 2016 I think so, I seem to have the FPS to believe it. What's the easiest way to tell if it is or isn't?
