I really enjoy playing on the Wings Of Liberty. But there is one thing which I find strange on that particular server. The Russians "targets/airfields" are marked with the color red? That is really confusing. Why is it like this on the server, when all others always have the blue as friendly and red as enemy?

I think it's to do with just personal choice of the server admins and probably being Russian they must like red for the allies. The problem for me is taxiing on airfields in this server, it is very confusing with very few visual cues and you can spend a significant amount of time getting onto the runway. A fair number of folks give up and just full throttle it and take off where they are, which can prove shall we say interesting.

There are a few other servers that give you some visual indications of the direction to taxi and personally I think it would be a helpful addition to Wings.

I'm just happy it's expert with gps still on. It seems TWB dropped the map showing your position at all times setting, but it's extremely boring now.

I don't mind going full real and using real techniques for navigation, but the sim should support this like Dcs. Have a map knee board that you can make marks as you fly to chart your position in game, or actually have radio beacon homing equipment that actually works so you can tune to your home base and fly home if you get lost. Every time I fly TWB, I never find any adversaries. Just kinda ends up being boring.

Regarding the radio beacon, it works. The mission maker has to set the beacon channel to "1" on the antenna (which is listed in the vehicles section in the FME).

Copy, but do all the aircraft have the ability to receive the signal and give you a heading to follow ?
