Is it any good? I'm still waiting for a true WW2 tank sim. Tiger vs. T-34 was the right way to go but was just way too limited.

The company commander scope is more complex than the Steel Fury version. The has same engine as Graviteam Tactics, if you wish to command the company. As opposed to the Arma style Steel Fury version.

Other than that you can go into battle action immediately. Sim combat is great. On par with Steel Fury, simply set on cold war era.

As with Steel Fury it lacks on guiding the player. One needs the manual on the side the first try outs.

the demo is outdated as hell. the newest version of the game has way more advanced graphics, better performance and streamlined interface.

the most realistic tank sim. it's not as thorough and complex as steel beast, but it has a bunch of things, like modeled hydrostatic transmission that completely overshadows steel beast's hover tank nonsense. these things have widespread gameplay and tactical impact, which makes it in my mind, more realistic and detailed than steel beast, just not as accurate down to the button mashing level.

the only downside is the legendary t-72 doesn't make an appearance.

In a realistic ww2 tank sim you must forbid using teamspeak for t34 driver. The T34 was superior to the german mark III and IV in much categories, but they have no radio equipment. The biggest disadvantages. So, you never get an realistic multiplayer ww2 tank sim.

Is there a tank sim with a T-72? In that I would like to see how the sim compares to the real thing, and the T-72 is the only Russian tank I have ever had the pleasure of driving.

They have another title - Balkans on Fire which has it.

Looks like a demo worth trying. But yikes! The video that shows the tank crewman on fire running around was a little creepy tho. Drop and roll. Drop and roll. That's what I was taught as a kid. Of course, I never was dowsed in burning fuel either.
