SpaydCBR Posted April 14, 2015 Posted April 14, 2015 Hello everybody! I am new here (first post). I was looking to get into flight sims and after watching many videos of BoS I decided to go for it. I bought it a few days ago and I think it's a really nice game. Unfortunately, I started getting this really weird graphical glitch that is greatly ruining my experience It appears as though things like smoke and clouds don't get rendered above the horizon and it's really distracting. I haven't had any luck finding a fix so I thought I would ask here. Does anybody else get this and knows of a fix? I've tried almost every graphics setting combination and updated my drivers. I've also tried reinstalling the game and that works just for a bit, then it comes back. I really hope someone can help me with this. I really want to enjoy the game but I can't with this glitch. Here's some information about my computer if any of it helps: -Windows 8.1 -i5-3570k -8GB RAM -HD 7950 OC -Driver version: 14.501.1003 -I got the Steam version 1
Dakpilot Posted April 14, 2015 Posted April 14, 2015 Have to say I have never seen that, perhaps AMD users can share some of their settings Cheers Dakpilot
Willy__ Posted April 14, 2015 Posted April 14, 2015 (edited) Hello SpaydCBR! I read somewhere here on these forums the solution (dont remember exactly where) but people and also myself had the same problem. The conclusion we got is that the game doesnt go well with some overlays (like steam and teamspeak). Since I disabled the steam overlay that graphical glitch disappeared. SpaydCBR Posted April 14, 2015 Author Posted April 14, 2015 OMG! THANK YOU! Turning off Steam overlay worked! It's a little disappointing because I like the Steam overlay, but at least now I can enjoy the game in all it's glory!
